From June 18 to 21, the exhibition "Peonies 2026" will take place at the Latvian National Museum of Natural History. Over 200 varieties will be showcased, and the exhibition is organized in cooperation with Elita Zvingule (the collection garden "Ķesterciema peonijas") and representatives of other peony gardens in Latvia.
During the summer solstice period, many peonies reach their peak bloom. Also at the exhibition visitors will be able to enjoy and appreciate the diversity, beauty, and fragrance of peony flowers. The display will feature herbaceous peonies, hybrid peonies, and intersectional (Itoh) peonies. Alongside the newest varieties, the exhibition organizers will also showcase rare and unusual peonies.
The participants of the exhibition "Peonies 2026" are: collection garden "Ķesterciema peonijas" and Elita Zvingule, the National Botanic Garden of Latvia, Vineta Briška-Kambala from Kocēni, Lidija Brice from Pelēči parish.
Visitors will have the opportunity to receive advice from experienced gardeners on peony cultivation, breeding, and choosing the most suitable varieties for their own gardens. During the exhibition, visitors will also be able to vote for the most beautiful peony!

in the exhibition hall on the 2nd floor.
